1xBet Match Result Markets

Labels such as 1, X, 2, W1, W2 and Regular Time look simple, but misreading one of them can lose a bet even when your match prediction was right. This guide explains what each result market means (see also the 1xBet betting guide).

What 1X2 Means

1X2 is the basic result market. It has three outcomes and you back one of them.

SymbolMeaning
1Home team wins
XDraw (the match ends level)
2Away team wins
Backing 1 wins only if the home team wins in regular time.

Most football 1X2 markets cover regular time only. This matters in knockout competitions (see Regular Time below).

W1 and W2

W1 and W2 are the two team-win outcomes of a two-way market, where a draw is not possible or not offered.

SymbolMeaning
W1Team 1 (home or listed first) wins
W2Team 2 (away or listed second) wins

You see W1/W2 mainly in:

  • Basketball: overtime decides the winner, so there is no draw
  • Tennis: a match always has a winner
  • American football: overtime rules remove the draw in most cases
  • Draw No Bet variants in football

In W1/W2 no stake is lost to a draw. In 1X2 the draw is a third result that loses a bet on either team.

What X Means

X is the draw outcome of a 1X2 market. It exists only in three-way markets, so an X on screen means the draw is a live possibility.

RugbyDraw No Bet (the draw is removed and the stake refunded)

1X2 vs Win 2-Way

Feature1X2Win 2-Way (W1/W2)
OutcomesThree: home, draw, awayTwo: Team 1, Team 2
DrawA separate outcome, it loses a team selectionNot offered, resolved by overtime or excluded
SportsFootball, rugby, hockey and others with drawsBasketball, tennis, American football, Draw No Bet

Read the market name before you bet: three prices with X in the middle is 1X2, two prices labeled W1/W2 means no draw applies.

What Regular Time Means

Regular time is the standard duration of play for the sport. It excludes extra time, overtime periods and penalty shootouts.

SportRegular time includesRegular time excludes
Football90 minutes + stoppage timeExtra time, penalties
Basketball (Regular Time market)Four quartersOvertime
Basketball (standard Match Winner)Four quarters and usually overtimeNot applicable
Hockey60 minutesOvertime, shootout
TennisThe full matchNot applicable

Example: a cup match ends 1-1 after 90 minutes and one team wins in extra time. The Regular Time 1X2 settles on X, so a bet on “1” loses. A To Qualify market settles on the team that advances.

How Double Chance Works

Double Chance packs two of the three 1X2 outcomes into one selection. You get broader coverage at lower odds than either single outcome.

SelectionCoversLoses if
1XHome win or drawAway team wins
12Home win or away winThe match is drawn
X2Away win or drawHome team wins

1X suits a favorite that is unlikely to lose but may draw. X2 suits an underdog that can hold a draw. Double Chance does not exist in W1/W2 markets, because there is no draw to cover.

What is W1 and W2 on 1xBet?
W1 and W2 label the two team-win outcomes in markets without a draw. W1 is the first-listed team and W2 the second-listed team. They appear in basketball, tennis and draw-excluded markets.
